ICNA Relief

ICNA Relief is a social services department of Islamic Circle of North America. We are a humanitarian relief and development organization responding to human sufferings in emergency and disaster situations through America. Our mission is to strengthen the bond of humanity by serving all those in need, with special focus on our neighborhoods where ICNA Relief programs exist.

In addition to providing humanitarian aid to Muslims, we are actively establishing services for the needy in poor neighborhoods through the city. In Chicago, for decades we have done meat collection and distribution on the event of Eid, we call this program Abrahams Day. We have provided over half a million dollars financial assistance to needy Muslims through out Chicago land area. For past three years we have been actively conducting Feed the Hungry drives multiple times a year serving the community with a special focus on providing year round refugee assistance for to over 150 families around Chicago.

In early 2009 we launched our Thrift Store and Food Pantry in Villa Park, catering to the underserved community a walking distance from the store. This also serves as a launching pad for our various Food Drives and campaigns happening through out the year.

We believe in a helping hand, not a handout, which creates conditions in which people can actively participate in the development process.

If you would like to work on establishing any service for the needy in your community, or would like to donate money for this purpose, or can assist in any other way, please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
