Young Muslim Sisters is a lively community, a sisterhood that thrives on empowering and supporting women of all ages. Our safe space is where sisters come together to share thoughts, feelings, and experiences, recognizing the strength that unity brings, as emphasized in Islam. Inspired by the Prophet Muhammad’s teaching, “A believer is a mirror to another believer,” we reflect the essence of sisterhood. We were born from the realization that a significant segment of the Muslim youth was yearning for a deeper connection with their faith. As the youth division of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), our mission is to cultivate the desire to live for the sake of Allah, fostering positive change in the lives of those around us. At the heart of Young Muslim Sisters is the NeighborNet, a dynamic gathering where sisters delve into the principles of Islam, translate them into practice, and form unbreakable bonds of sisterhood. With knowledge, activism, and a touch of fun, we unite to make a meaningful impact in our communities and beyond.

The foundation of our objectives is “Tarbiyah” – the comprehensive development of our members. Young Muslim Sisters actively participate in character building, education, and spiritual growth, molding our members into well-rounded, self-assured individuals.

Young Muslim Sisters is a dynamic space exclusively for Young girls aged 13 to 25. In this phase, you spread your wings, explore your potential, and ignite your inner supergirl. We’re here to empower, uplift, and stand with you as you navigate this exciting journey. From 13, where the world opens up, to 25, where you’re forging your path, we’re your constant companions. Together, we’ll build knowledge, form lasting friendships, and make a difference. It’s the age of growth, dreams, and endless possibilities, and Young Muslim Sisters is your sisterhood, guiding you through every step with support, understanding, and empowerment.
